Bacteria in our school! In the past week we started a bacteria lab. My group took 4 q-tips and wet the ends. We swabbed the toilet seat, the water fountain, the ipad screen and a door handle! Our question was 'What part of our school has the most bacteria?' The water fountain had the most bacteria, there was bacteria all over the water fountain part of the petri dish, it was kinda yellow. The toilet had the 2nd most bacteria, There were yellow splatters on the petri dish. The IPad screen some drops two were kinda big and four were tiny, the size of needle points. The door handle had as much bacteria as the iPad screen and the drops were kinda brown. We might have been inaccurate on the bacteria because there might have been bacteria in the air that got on the q-tips. It's gross to think that bacteria is all over our school!
