We have three 6th grade Science classes and two 8th grade Science classes blogging here from the Pacific Northwest in Chimacum, WA! Sixth graders are learning a bit about Mt Saint Helens, environmental science through fresh water ecology, and physical science this year. Eighth graders are learning about life science this year. batteries !!! LESSON 2 1. The volts got there name from alessandro volta and he was known to heve made the first battery allmost 200 years ago.
2.Davey's battery's were not practical because they were the size of a classroom.
3.some archaeolgists think they found the first electric battery wich was a clay thing with a medal rod in the middle of it and it was made more than 3000 years ago. LESSON 3
1.they store chemical energy and then tranceform into electric energy.
2. the cappacity of batteries depends on the amount of electrods and electrodyters .
3 battery that recharges faster and stays on longer.
4. change the electrodes.
