Sixth graders are learning a bit about Mt Saint Helens, environmental science through fresh water ecology, and physical science this year. Eighth graders are learning about life science this year. Plant cells v.s. Animal cells

Plant cells-plant cells have plastids,as well as a cell wall they have skinny steams unlike an animal cell.

What they have in common is that they both have nucli organelle like ribosome. They also preform mitoses to divied

Animal cells- they have centrioles unlike plant cells.animal cells have a small vacuoles. Animal cells have havel flagellum which a plant cell does not have.

Paramecia

Paramecia is a microscopic living organism that eats bread.it also lives in water.They move evereywhere in all directions. We had difficulties trying to absurve the paramecia because they move quick.they look like little clear bubbles that are shaped like little squggles.also they can reproduce by eating food they just get cut in half lath wise and then there are 2 of them and the multiply like crazy andnthen you'll have a hole cup of microscopic paramecia.

Experimenting with yeast

Our question was how do different liquids affect the yeast, We found that the ones with salt in them they smell the worst.the sugar water smells better because the yeast takes in sugar. The evidence was that the liquids changed over time. so the airs were we forgot to get balloons for measuring our data.

How does Environment Affect organisms?it gives them life and keeps them healthy.Why do the organisms appear non-living?When we put them under the microscope and we saw that they never hatched.Why didn't the brine shrimp hatch?why do orbeez grow bigger in water?

i live in chimacum,wa it rains alot here and its cold and windy and not alot to do here but your close to pretty much everything which is cool right?ive lived here my whole life so im used to it by now because its the only place ive lived my whole life. this is where i live!

LESSON 2 1. The volts got there name from alessandro volta and he was known to heve made the first battery allmost 200 years ago.
2.Davey's battery's were not practical because they were the size of a classroom.
3.some archaeolgists think they found the first electric battery wich was a clay thing with a medal rod in the middle of it and it was made more than 3000 years ago. LESSON 3
1.they store chemical energy and then tranceform into electric energy.
2. the cappacity of batteries depends on the amount of electrods and electrodyters .
3 battery that recharges faster and stays on longer.
4. change the electrodes.
