We have three 6th grade Science classes and two 8th grade Science classes blogging here from the Pacific Northwest in Chimacum, WA! Sixth graders are learning a bit about Mt Saint Helens, environmental science through fresh water ecology, and physical science this year. Eighth graders are learning about life science this year. Conditions of Use


Carbon Lunch 43267.5 pounds that is how much carbon dioxide is sent into the air when i get my lunch. It was a cheese burger whith jam and bread i also had a bannana, yogurt, and a glass of orange juice. The total miles to get that food was 11,538 miles. To get the pounds of carbon you multiply 3.67 by the total mileage. It is preaty horrible just for one lunch.
