We have three 6th grade Science classes and two 8th grade Science classes blogging here from the Pacific Northwest in Chimacum, WA! Sixth graders are learning a bit about Mt Saint Helens, environmental science through fresh water ecology, and physical science this year. Eighth graders are learning about life science this year. Conditions of Use


Animal vs. PlantCell Animal cells do not have rigid cell walls,this allows Animal cells to form and adopt various shapes. Many types of plant cells there is an absence of flagellae and Centrioles that are found in animal cells. The plant cell has a cell wall and the animal cell doesn't. Unlike the animal cell the plant cell has a chloroplasts.
