Here are the things I liked the most about 4th grade. In December we had a air guitar using a computer with music on it. Tyler controlled the music. We had teams. Billy, Mark, and Todd where the Pantaraand they won. Davion, and I were the Supersayins but I did most of the job because Davion wasn't looking at the camera making faces. Kaitlyn, Marissa, and Hailey were the Chipettes. Shelton, Katrell, James, and Aaron were the Thunderstorm. We all had fun. Next Billy, Tessa, and I are in one internet chess game with Mr. Humble. Shelton, Davion, and Tyler are in another. It goes like this we each have a chess board. We play people around the world. My team has 8 pieces the team were facing has only 7 pieces. Next, this year we went on two hikes. The first one was in fall. The other one was in spring. In the fall hike I went with Billy and his mom. In the spring hike I went with my dad. On computer we did Drakos which is a mission in Quest Atlantis a 3d virtual world. what you have to do is breed a couple or several drakos aka dragon flies. I don't want to go to 5th grade cause it is so fun in here.

The way I would do a video is to have A crash test dummy in a car without a seat belt and I would put a brick on the gas pedal and put a brick wall in front of it and it will show you what would happen if you are not wearing a seat belt. The main ideas in my video are to wear your seat belt or you will go through the window. I would do a video.

Guess what Ms.Lina and Ms.Maria from QA are at our school. They created a mission called Drakos in QA. Two of my class played on this mission. My group and another has not played this mission. We talked about it and it sounds fun i am so exited. It is about dragonflies and breeding them. We learned about phenotypes and genotypes.

James and the Giant Peach teaches us to be nice to others because if you don't someone will get hurt. At the begining of the story Aunt Sponge and Aunt Spiker yelled at James for no reason. These are examples of not nice behavior. One example is when the Centipede kept calling the bugs and the cloud men names. Another one was when the Centipede called James a Donkey=http:// After they were all on the peach the Centipede and the Earth Worm were not nice to the rest of the bugs. The bugs that were nice are Lady bug, Old Green Grasshopper, Miss Spider, Silk Worm, and the Glow Worm.James sets a good example for the bugs by not calling them names unlike Centipede. The reason that James is so nice to the bugs because they are his only friends.

Last Friday we went to a town called Clarksville. It was fun. Fist we went to a river bank. Then after that we went to a place called the apple farm. The people in there showed two different eagles. One was a bald eagle the other was a golden eagle. Their names were Liberty the other one was Maria. After that we went back to the river bank and drank hot chocolate. then we went back to school. Guess what my class did last Friday. We had a conference with CA. We wore masks and played a game called I am an unknown number. If they guessed it we would have to take of our masks and told them who we were. The program we used was called Skype. For example: Add me to myself and you get 1,000 what am I. Answer 500.Also if they got it right we would honk the horn.

Metaphors

Have you ever heard about similes and metaphors? The definition of simile is a comparison using like or as. The definition of metaphor states that one thing is a comparison but it does NOT use like or as. We thought it was a little bit confusing at first. Example for a simile is, His feet were as big as boats this is a simile because it involves as. Example for metaphor is, A boy was a hungry lion this was a metaphor because it did not involve as or like. The mission that involved metaphor and simile is Sally's journal. Sally said that her flute is her best and only friend.

Have you heard about math patterns. You will find patterns all over the world? You will find patterns in centers, shirts, and pants. When your are looking for patterns in numbers you will look for how the numbers are changing in the middle. The numbers shown here are 1,4,7,10,13,16,19, they each are growing by three . The pattern shown here are 2,12,4,24,6,36,8,48; the patterns are on every other number. The first pattern is 2,4,6,8 and they are growing by 2. the other pattern is 12,24,36,48 and they are growing by 12.I would say it is easy to find patterns. But sometimes it isn't.
