My class has an assignment it is about researching someone you admire…………….the questions are…………………

Who or what do you want to research???????

I would like to research Mia Hamm.

Write a brief statement of who or what your topic is about.

My topic is about a U.S.A., girl soccer player.

Why have you choose this topic????????

I have chosen this topic because I admire Mia Hamm and I am a soccer player myself.

Couplet Poem

Article posted March 4, 2010 at 06:06 PM GMT-5 • comment (6) • Reads 252

I saw a dolphin in the sea,

It jumped up, did a flip and then looked at me!

Dolphin, dolphin, swimming fast,

Doing flips as I walk past.

Swimming in the water all shiny and blue

I wonder what it would feel like to be like you!

For more pics of dolphins go to the following sites.........

Winter Olympics

I think that the olympics bring together unity throughout the countries. I think this because how often do the countries get together and compete with each other. I think this a great way to get out and do{for the athletes] and a great time to get some winter entertainment[for the watchers].

Christmas Traditions

Article posted December 16, 2009 at 08:53 PM GMT-5 • comment • Reads 141

It is a tradition in my family to make cookies and ice them. We do this for fun and to give

them to"Santa". The cookies are sugar cookies with homemade icing. The icing is usually red,

yellow, blue and green. The cookie are loaded with icing.......usually, depending on who makes

them. The cookies aren’t just plain round ones, they are Christmas trees, bells, angels and many,

many more. We also put toppings on the cookies. The toppings include different sprinkles and

red hots. The best part about making them is the final prat "testing" them. I can’t wait to make

them again.

Another tradition is to draw names at Thanksgiving. We do this to see who we will buy

gifts for, for Christmas. We have been doing this for as long as I can remember. I love doing this

because no one knows who they will get. Everyone buys for the kids though, so I have nothing to

worry about.

The last tradition I do is we get up on Christmas morning. Then we open up our stocking

s and then go to church. After church we have Christmas at my house. My grandmas and

grandpas only come to this one. Finally we are down ro the best part opening up presents!

My Dream Job[s]

Article posted November 10, 2009 at 11:23 AM GMT-5 • comment (1) • Reads 127

I am interested in being three things: a teacher, a journalist and a pro soccer player. I am interested in being a teacher because I think being a teacher will help me gain patience, since I do not have any sometimes. I also know being a teacher takes certain things like a good education, good grades, a collage education and a master’s degree [if wanted]. I also think it is cool that teachers help everybody…….well almost everybody. Teachers are the people who help you do things like get a job. Think about it……….. If there were no teachers their would be no accountants, dancers, vets, lawyers….. no nothing. That is why I want to be a teacher. Also your life is a mystery.

I am also interested in being a journalist. I am interested because I love to write. Writing is my favorite thing to do. I have written tons of poems. I love writing so much and if I had this job I would work for a really famous magazine article and maybe if I get good enough I could write my very own book [hopefully, I am thinking big here]. I also would want to work nearby Botkins or even in Botkins. However being a journalist would take a ton of work and studying. Being a journalist would take a good education, collage education, writing skills, and interesting personality, being able to be a visual thinker, being well organized and many more things too. That is why I want to be a journalist. Also everybody knows everything about you………… well, sometimes.

I am also interested in being a pro soccer player. I love to play soccer. I play on a select soccer team. I play for S.C. Alliance.  I love playing the game.  If I was a soccer player I would need practice, a good and collage education, I would also need good grades and many more things, too. I also would want to play either for the Columbus Crew or the U.S.A. Soccer team. That is why I want to be a pro soccer player. The down side that everybody knows everything about you.

What Food

Article posted October 27, 2009 at 09:25 AM GMT-5 • comment (3) • Reads 125

My food is as dark as a room with no lights. They make me feel that every day is a sunny day, but it is not. At times it is as sticky as goo. I think they are better gooey, so I can feel the creamy texture.

They are served in well…………….at any occasion with ice cream. They are best when warm [well at least I think so]. I also love the fact that I can bake them all by myself. It is a dessert [not chocolate].The food starts with the letter B.
