Happy Mother's Day to all our Moms

We finished our mapping unit by taking a map of our neighborhood and going on a walk. We had various things we needed to do everytime we found a fire hydrant, a basketball hoop, a storm drain marked with a fish, a slide, a daffodil and a bunny. We headed out in the sunshine and twenty minutes into it we were walking in the rain and hail. Our maps turned to mush and we walked as quick as we could back to the school. Turns out it was the only twenty minutes of rain and hail all day. Go figure!
