Thanks to Mrs. Cassidy, we have this wonderful YouTube video of our two classes skating. It amazes me how much these children improve in just three short sessions on the ice.

Here we are on our 2nd day of skating. We get to skate as a class three times. For some of the children it is only their second time on the ice. It's amazing how fast children this age catch on to skating! We skate one last time next Tuesday.

Many of the children of Westmount School participated in the Salute to Youth program put on by the WHL Warriors' hockey team. Between the 2nd and 3rd period the children performed in a Flash Mob to the music of Party Rock Anthem. It was a blast! The warriors played against the Medicine Hat Tigers. The Warriors won, 8-4.

I realize this is really old but I just had to post it. The children each got to put on a moustache tatoo when it was their turn to be Boss Hog. I only made it to mid way through November before I had to shave my stubble off. It was driving me crazy!!!

It's taken me a while but I finally got the photos of our Remembrance Day display posted. Our school won first prize in the city for our display. The Legion gave us a cheque for $200. Many people put a lot of work into the dispay.

These girls were kind enough to help me carry the mannequin into the school. This mannequin was used in our Remembrance Day display. He was dressed in a WWII uniform for the display.
