Ice monster affected by fire

Ice monster connected by wire

Really slimy

Really, really grimy

Exploded up higher and higher.

Once upon a time in Rotorua there was a boy called Hatupatu. His brothers were famous hunters. They left Hatupatu home. Once he got so hungry that he broke into the pataka but when his brothers arrived he pretended that a war party had stolen all the food. He tried it the next time except his brothers were ready to pounce. Then his brothers ran at him. Hatupatu ran and ran until he was deep in the forest. He was so tired that he fell asleep. When he woke up he saw a woman with wings. She swooped down and grabbed him until she dropped him in a house on a pole. He saw three beautiful cloaks and then he stole them and escaped. He ran and ran as fast as he could go but the Birdwoman was close. He tried to jump into a rock and it opened. He stayed in there a long time and then he ran for his life. As usual he was followed by the Birdwoman. A mud pool splashed up and the Birdwoman was never to be seen again. He got home and his brothers let him go hunting.

Sadness is blue It tastes like stale porridge

and smells like musty, old socks.

It looks like a gloomy, wet day

Igt sounds like the rain falling from the sky.

It feels like a miserable

monster.
