Nau mai, haere mai. Welcome to Room 8 for 2013! We have settled into the new year and are now working on full cylinders. Lots of fun and laughter can be heard but yes, lots of learning too. Congratulations to the children as they step into the roles and expectations of Year 3 children. Well done and keep it up!

This is my last Blog posting. I am handing this blog over to Louise Jones and she will run it in 2013. I have enjoyed sharing the children's work and playing with the photos and making slide shows. It is still exciting to get a comment from someone I don't know who just found the Blog on the world wide web. The connection with Mr Sliversides in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and his classes developed into a Travel Buddy exchange which was real and meaningful for the children. We learnt that although we live on opposite sides of the world we have more things in common that differences.
