Greenwitch ispart of the Dark is Rising Sequence. In this book Will goes on a trip with his uncle. A few other characters come along like Merriman, Barney, Simon, and Jane Drew. Jane has an interesting experience with the greenwitch, a character from Trewissick custom and learns to see beyond just the big scary timbers wrapped together to form a figure and into it's real heart and to understand how it feels. that is why I think this book falls under the theme of empathy.
