Hi friends, welcome back. Last Wednesday Room 6 went on that Otanewainuku walk I talked about and it was FUN!! We had cameras and took heaps of photos. We even saw a real kiwi but it wasn't alive. It wasn't run over by a car, it was whole but had no insides, just wire in casing. It still looked real. We also saw a real kiwi egg, it was HUGE! For proof, here's some photos.

We made some pois and it was fun. Then we went to another Group and made some little fish. When we got called on to the marae we had to walk slowly there because that’s what people do at the marae. We did some other fun things like some songs and weaving then we had some lunch.

Room 6 has been learning about France and a famous French artist called Henri Matisse. He made paintings until he noticed that he had cancer so he made cut out drawings. Room 6 made their own cut out drawings of a snail. Miss. Butler has put them on the wall. Henri died at 85.
