Every term the children at Malfroy School set learning goals. They set a writing goal,a reading goal, a maths goal and a key competency goal.
To aim is to enable the learner to identify what they need to improve upon or master by the end of the term.
With practice and perseverance the children can achieve their goals.
This is a sample of their goals:
I need to add or delete words to make my writing more interesting.
I need to read at home and bring my book back to school every day.
I need to learn my times table.
I need to listen more carefully.
These are important learning skills which will help children set and achieve future goal setting. You can do it.
