There are many reasons why it is important that the entire world shares the same calender. One is because it really just makes things easier. Also there would be no confusion or mistakes that come with having to convert from many different calenders. If almost every country had a different calender then all of the countries would have to convert their dates when working with international dates. There are many other reasons why the entire world should have the same calender, and why it just makes sense.

When the president dies it is the vice-president who become the new president. This is because if for some reason the president dies they have a replacement ready. William Henry Harrison was the first president to die in office and vice-president John Tyler took his place. Many other vice-presidents have become presidents.
There could many reasons why they chose for the vice-president to be the president in case of the presidents death. One could be because the vice-president has already be elected along with the president. This would mean that there wouldn't have to be a rush to have another election. There are could also be many other reasons to why they chose the vice-president.

I think it is very important to use the same calendar around the world for many reasons. For one i think it should be the same because if you are traveling it is hard to keep track of the days. Like, instead of the maximum of 1 day difference it could be three days or even a week. Another important reason is because of sports' events like the Olympics, it could be the 2012 Olympics in one country and in the next it could be 2013 Olympics.

I teach 7th grade GT American History and 8th grade GT Louisiana History at Paul Breaux Middle School.My hero is Thomas Jefferson. Jefferson was a jack-of-all-trades. He was a planter, a painter, a sculptor, a writer, an inventor, a thinker, an architect. He built the University of Virginia from the ground up. I would love to earn my PhD at his university or maybe teach there one day when I grow up.
