The light house and the wave

Once upon time there was a brown, brick light house that kept flashing and had annoying seagulls flying around it. The old man and women who lived in it did not like the seagulls and were feeling too old to run the lighthouse and get it fixed. “The seagulls keep annoying me” moaned Mr.Grinling. “I’m too old for this so what can I do?” he said.
Mrs Grinling had an idea she thought that they could leave the light on all the time so they didn’t have to keep going up the stairs at night to turn it on. “But, then the planes might crash if the light is on all day” said Mr. Grinling. Mrs. Grilling said well we should sell it then. Just then the floor bobbled and shook and a huge tidal wave came. Mr. and Mrs Grinling rushed to the tower, but it was too late the wave hit the light house and it knocked it over and that was the end of that.

On Friday me mum, dad and my brother went to Minginui to go 4wding taking my brothers car Vinny.Vinny is a Series 1 Land Rover. Vinny is 2wd or 4wd. vinny is a manual. vinny is a short wheel base. we had to sleep in cabins. The next day we went 4wding first I went in vinny then I went in Marcels land rover defender. I jolted forward and smashed my head on the dash board. We didn't need seat belts. We got really wet. Soon we reached the end of the track. It was all bush. We cleared it all, we had cleared it from the other side up to a log that we cut in half. It was hard work. We got a defender to clear the track. We had to clear another tree. By Cameron
