the horrible book of horror

Article posted November 4, 2010 at 10:28 PM GMT • comment • Reads 580

You are about to read the spookiest story on earth!
It Book of Horror
started off when a lady took a pale red trolley at the supermarket and picked a bright orange pumpkin, some chocolate money and a lantern. It was the night of Halloween and the Lady had already seen children trick or treating twice.
When the lady reached the counter, the man at the counter named witchy, told the lady that the guy at Super:/Spy Home Video Shop eats chocolate money and when the guy eats it he turns into a vampire!
When the lady arrived home, she carved a scary face in the pumpkin and put the lantern inside. It wasn’t long before “knock, knock trick or treat” was called out. The lady opened her front door and answered “treat” and gave the chocolate money. They thought it was real. The lady saw them run down the street straight into Super:/spy. The children gave the money to the man, trying to buy a DVD. As soon as the money was handed over, Bang!! Went the spider webs turning into spy cameras, Bang!! Went the shelves as they turned into mummy displays, and Bang!! Darrel Death the owner turned into a vampire! The children ran back to the house where the lady had given them the money. The children quickly disguised The Horrible
themselves as different characters. “Trick or Treat!!” they called. The lady chose treat and gave them more money they took it to the vampire to see if they gave the money to him again it might turn him back. But instead it turned him into a ghost. A little boy from the group spotted a real fifty cents he gave it to the ghost. The ghost thought it was chocolate and he ate it and turned back to Darrel Death. The children were relieved and carried on trick or treating.

How Maui found the secret of fire.

Article posted September 8, 2010 at 03:18 AM GMT • comment • Reads 177

Maui was a trickster! He was Inquisitive. One misty cloudy night, Maui Tikitikiataranga was wondering how fire was made, so when everyone from his village had gone to sleep, Maui crept out of his cloak covered bed and seized the largest calabash he could find and filled it up to the top with water until it almost burst and smacked it fiercely against the a long flaming twig that sizzled when water trickled down it .Night swept by and in a couple of hours morning awoke him.”WHO let the fire out?” boomed Maui’s mother, “It was I” said Maui. “Why would you do that?” asked his Mother. “I wanted to see how fire was made”, explained Maui. “Go to Mahuika, your grandmother; ask her for a fire finger .She can be quite fierce. Maui got instructions to the underground. He darted off to the cave belonging to his grandmother.
“Who enters my world?!” Mahuika shouted.
“It is I, Maui. Grandmother, I need a fire finger”.
“Why?” Asked Mahuika, angrily.
“A drizzle of rain slipped from the roof and splashed over our fire”. But Maui knew he was tricking, Mahuika threatened him if he was to return but return he did each time until eight fingernails were each killed, washed out, or eaten- by a taniwha Maui thought “I’ll take this one and see how fire’s made” he giggled.
“MAUI! MAUI! MAUI! Is it you?” Mahuika boomed. Maui shrieked with laughter.
Trouble trouble” echoed around Maui’s head. “Want to waste me, roared Mahuika. The whistled flame grew big and Mahuika tossed it at Maui. It soon happened it was on fire. It twisted up dead climbing roses greedily. “Rain, rain, please bring rain” pleaded Maui. Next mountains of water piled down. Mahuika knew she was going to die so she threw fire into two trees. Maui saw her do this; and that was the story of how Maui found the secret of fire.
