Similarités - Blog 1 Welcome to our classroom blog. Hopefully this will be a fun way to practice our writing in French. Periodically, you will be given a prompt and be asked to comment in French. You must use French punctuation and accents, and check your spelling and grammar! Your work will then be e-mailed to me for approval and grading against the basic writing rubric. If I see a mistake in your rough draft, I will mark it and tell you the type of mistake you need to correct. Then you will make your corrections and re-submit your entry for approval and posting. I will help you with your edit, if needed, but only after you've made every effort to edit your own work. Your initial posting and your final edit must be submitted on time in order to receive credit for your work.

Here is your first blog article. Read it carefully, and then answer the questions in paragraph form. Read the comment to the blog for an example of how to respond.

Don't worry, this one isn't too tough, so you can get used to the process.

Happy Blogging! Mme Simpson

Date Due: jeudi, 2 février

Bienvenue!

About the Blogger
I have 15 years experience translating French and Spanish in private industry, and working as a free-lance editor, translator and writer. A few years ago, I decided to change paths. I now teach French and Spanish in middle school and high school. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages and Linguistics, a Masters in Education. In addition to being certified to teach French and Spanish, I am also an ESL Program Specialist, and certified to teach mid-level Language Arts and Mathematics.
