Where We Live The Livewires live in the North Island. Our town is very peaceful. Fourteen Livewires live on the farms, 10 Livewires live in town. Some Livewires work for OCC or other dairy farming companies. Farms have cows and sheep. Also you can get kiwifruit and maize. You can have beef cattle which is bulls. Sometimes your milk gets squeezed into a big tank and it’s sweet milk. Sometimes its turned into cheese and butter and sometimes it goes to the USA.
Some mountains around us are actually volcanoes but they’re extinct. The mountains are Kakepuku, Maungatautari and Pirongia. Those mountains are in the Waipa District. Maungatautari is a very special mountain because of birds and kiwis. It is a habitat for native birds because there are not many of them.
