Maungatautari Wow, look at those birds. They are called kaka and the little birds are called kakariki.
On the way there Mum drove me and Josh D. We had a quiet chat on the way there. When we got there we had morning tea. Then we went into the bush. But you had to push a button to open the door. Half of us went in and then we read a sign. It said ‘No Dogs Allowed’.
There is a fence. It is special to people who own Maungatautari because nothing can get past it. If a cat tried to jump the fence it won’t be able to do that because it will slide down on the ground. Mrs Collins rubbed a cork against a jar. It sounded like a fantail followed us on the track.
We saw tracking tunnels. In it was an ink card. It had ink in the middle of it and peanut butter as well. But we had a surprise visit. The bees. They stung 6 people. They went back to school.
