 New Zealand Lake Taupo is the largest volcano in New Zealand. Waikato River is the longest river in New Zealand. We make money from dairy farming because you can sell the milk that comes from cows on the farm. We can earn money from sheep farming too. We can shear off their wool and sell it. We get heaps of tourism in New Zealand. Our rugby team is called the All Blacks. Our soccer team is called the All Whites. We do rowing, cricket and netball as well. Our country has no native mammals except for bats. We have lots of native birds but many don’t fly. People are called kiwis and a bird is called a kiwi too. The population of New Zealand is four million. Most live in towns or cities. One million live in the biggest city, Auckland.
