We Made Popcorn by Nicola
WALT understand how to measure different stuff e.g. the popcorn seeds by counting and weighing in grams
I made popcorn at school. I had to make a popcorn box. It was so small . To make the box I looked at a plan of a box ( net) . Then I traced it and made it up. I used Sellotape to join it together. Then I decorated and put my name on it.
To work how much popcorn I needed I tested it with pop corn we had already popped. It took 50 popped seeds. Because some of the seeds didn’t pop when we tested them , I added another 10. My guess was good because it fitted perfectly.
The best part was we got to eat the popcorn. It tasted yummy.

Me and my dad and my big brother, Christian is at Mangatatutari office. Ally works with us. It is about 9.30 and soon we are going on a motor bike. It is going to be so fun and after me and Christian are going with our poppy I can not wait because it is the holidays days. It is so funtyhj ween we go to Maungatautari, kiwis, tack hay, and so meaning more fight less birds. I hope so much more people save our in danger fight less birds gust like(kiwi, tack hay and so much more.

I went on a boat ride with Room One, Two and Room he boat didn’t have a motor . The man had to pull us in the boat. There were eels in the water. The boat ride was so incredible because I had never been in a boat like that before. In the boat I looked up and saw thousands of glow worms . It looked like stars. Apart from the brown water the rest was ok .
I liked going to Otorohanga kiwi house. I saw kiwi’s and ducks and an owl and a kea.
We also had a stunning concert. I sang a song, “ Bleeding Love” . I was frightened but I did it.

Uses old toilet paper for food

SHAVING DAD’s HAIR

On Saturday 14th September, I shaved my Dad’s hair off.
I said to my Dad, “Don’t be a scared. You will look like your brother.
He said , “Ohhh…”
I said, “Your criminal brother.”
“That’s all right then,” he replied.
I used some scissors and a shaver. I chopped his hair first, then I shaved , then I chopped again. It is about a number 1 and it looks really cool. He felt really happy .
Then last night my Dad went to go down the road on his bike and my brother said,” Be careful, the chain comes off.”
Christian went in to the fish and chip shop .
Three seconds later I followed him in to the fish and chip shop.
Dad was going to the next shop when the chain came off and he flipped off the bike and grazed from his elbow downwards. It was a really bad graze. It was bleeding badly. You could not see the skin .
We got the fish and chips and took Dad home. He cleaned it up and put honey on it to help it heal faster.

My dragon’s name is Fire and she goes to school but be careful she bites.
She is a girl she goes to our school.
She is purple.
She has 4 toes.
She eats birds and she turns into a person she said a pop star.
She is evil, vile and viscious and she all-was rips the uniform.
And she has a pet.
It is a dog, she tries not to eat it.
The dog is a dalmation.
The lighting and thunder came and she sprayed it out with her fire

At The BMX by Nicola
At the bmx I met up with Jarrod w Liam and I was on the trace when they came.
The bmx was so cool but it was nosing their because there was a 4 weal motto bike.
Hi, boys are so crazy because Liam stopped in front of me crazy.
Enjoy having my big brother being cool and papilla
Big brothers are funny and crazy after all.
My brother, Liam, Jarrod. W were all doing sand at the track.
