The Express Movie Response

After our class finished watching the Express we noticed some messages in the movie. One of the dudes messages was Nicky Rogers was the first black to play baseball and did a lot without saying anything. I still have a lot more messages on my page but I thought that one was the most important message on my sheet. Also in the movie it showed some racism in some parts of the movie. One thing we saw in the movie and didn't understand was the Naacp. One of our class mates turtle searched up the Naacp and he found that it was an abbreviation for 'National Association For The Advancement Of The Colored People'. We could not find a shorter way to spell it. Well that is about as much I can type for now so go watch The Express and tell me how cool it is.

One of my biggest successes so far is when I was born. It is my biggest because if I was not born I would not be here today. A thing I learned when I was a baby is that you do get a lot of attention and gifts. My mom and dad did a lot when I was a baby and they still are giving me a lot of attention. So that is my biggest success. So this is my success so far now go read someone's else's biggest success.

After watching the speech, I noticed that a lot of elements stood out. I thought most things Obama said were true or had a good message. For example, a good true qoute is "We understand that greatness cannot be given, but earned". I do agree that everyone has a role to build a better united world. I believe this because I think a person can do a lot to change the united world. An example might be a person running a marathon for a great cause like cancer. It can assist in building hope for all generations.
That's my report on Barack Obama's speech!

After watching Martin Luther King's speech I think his message was to tell the world that whites and blacks can live together. He wanted to tell the world that everyone should be treated the same.
I think Martin Luther King affected history by telling the people that they should not judge people on their colour but on what kind of person they are. He also gave a lot of people hope for human equality in the United States. His work forced the US government to change the way the black people were being treated.
Martin Luther King your a good man God bless you.

Snow Removers Out In Full Force

look at all that snow. If we want to get through the rest of the winter we need more snow equipment.
The article is about contractors,semi drives,truck drivers and employees who work in the snow joining together to assault the snow on Regina's streets soon.
I chose this article because if the people who are working the equipment do a bad job like putting snow in front and behind our car we might not be able to get out.
So if a snow plow comes down your street make sure snow does not get in front or behind your car.

My New Year resolution is to spend more time with my mom, my brother and my sister. The reason I chose this for my resolution is because I don't spend a lot of time with them. I will try to go over to their house on Friday and Saturday,and if my brother has a hockey game I will go to it. Maybe I might be able to go on a vacation or a hockey game with them. My family is important to me and that's why I chose this for my New Year's Resolution.

Hey it's mr been. I am new to this school so I am doing my three things about me,two things I like to do and one thing about my community.
Now three things about me. One thing about me is that I am good at math. Another thing about me is that I know lots about computers and other stuff like that. The last thing about me is that I don't have a pet.
Now two things I like to do. The first thing I like to do is to work on the computer. The second thing I like to do is to spend time with my family. The last thing I have to do is to write about my community. My community is first nation. Now you people know a little bit about me.
