Are Aliens Real???

Article posted May 7, 2009 at 02:26 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 267

How can you tell if they ever came to our planet? Do they really look like all those pictures we see in comics? Or is all of this just fake story telling? Who said they fly in spaceships? Do they have ANY proof? I have an idea. I believe that if they were real, they would be living in a planet that our astronauts cannot reach. Are there only girl aliens, or maybe only boy aliens??!! Do they watch us everyday? Is there a king, a queen? Also, if they were real, probably they would be waay smarter than we are. Especially since they've been hiding all these years without being seen. I wonder if we will ever find these creatures, and would they be just like I said? I wonder, I wonder, I really do.

All Alone

Bam! The sound of the bomb echoed in my ear. I ran towards my mother and asked,"Where is Papa?" "Um well uh." She hesitated. "I just don't know." Mama began to sob and walked to the window. All of a sudden she screamed and said, "RUN!" Then, right before my eyes Mama saved Papa. Now this may have been confusing for you, here let me explain. When Mama said run, Papa just came so she grabbed Papa and I, and pulled us out of the house before we fell. Now, let's continue the story.

"Mama?" I asked. "Yes?" She answered. "You are the best! You saved our lives!" "Oh, it was nothing." she replied. "Now let's find a safe
"Mama?" I asked. "Yes?" She answered. "You are the best! You saved our lives!" "Oh, it was nothing." she replied. "Now let's find a safe place to live; come on!"

When Mama was not listening I asked Papa, "Will we become poor?" "Honey, whatever happens to us we will be ok." Soon, I heard a bark! Then the cutest thing came out from behind the trash can! "A puppy!" I screamed. "Can we keep'em?" "Ask your father!" Mama laughed. I put my puppy dog face to Papa and begged,"Pleaaase! He is soo cute and do not worry, I will take good care of him!" "Well.... Okay!" "YAY!" “Hold on, there has to be a consequence. You have to pick up his poop."
"Fine..." I grumbled.

"Lets see... hmmm I am going to name you..... SKIPPER! I think. Or or or SPARKY! Or or or SPEEDY! Or or or SPIDERMAN!!! Ya ya ya ya Spiderman! Nah. Fine Skipper. UHHH! I am sooo confused!!! Mom? What should I name him?" "How about Love." Mama answered. "ARE YOU KIDDING? NO WAY! IT IS NOT EVEN VALENTINE'S DAY! WE ARE STILL IN OCTOBER!

Wait a minute October! Tomorrow is Halloween! Wahoo! Come on Skipper! Let's look for a costume!" I didn't even notice that I named the dog Skipper. Soon I was standing in front of a clothing shop. I found a witch costume, a wolf costume, even a skeleton costume!!! "Mom! Mom! Mom! I want the witch costume and Skipper wants the wolf one." "Okay okay! You don't have to call my name more than once!" Mom joked.

Soon mama was staring at the price tag. She sighed. "It looks like we cannot afford such clothing. Plus you already know that we are trying to save our money to buy a new house. Not a single penny can be wasted. I'm sorry sweetie."
I looked down at my shoes and went quiet. When I looked up Skipper was gone! I thought to myself. OH NO! WHERE IS SKIPPER? I CAN'T LET MY PARENTS KNOW THAT I LOST HIM. THEY WILL NEVER TRUST ME AGAIN!

Soon I realized that I didn't say it in my head I said it out loud! "YOU LOST WHAT?!" Mama shouted. "YOU WERE GOING TO LIE TO US?!" Papa screamed. Then on the same time, “HOW DARE YOU!!!"

After about 2 hours of walking we ended up by a small little cottage. While papa and mama were inspecting the garden, I sneaked into the house and found a small room! "Gosh, this room is the size of a closet looks like we really are poor." I stepped in the closet looking room and said quietly, “Today my mission is to RUN AWAY. I will never come back again." Now you may be thinking, are you crazy! You won't last one minute in the wilderness! Hey! What do you expect from a 7 year old girl. Any other 7 year old girl would do the same especially if they got shouted at like I did.

All of a sudden, I heard screaming from my parents! "NO NO NO! LEAVE OUR CHILD ALONE! NOOOO!" In less then a second, I realized they really did love me, they were risking their lives for me! In a flash of lightning out I went from the room and ran to my parents. There I found them sitting in a couch all cozy and warm hugging and laughing. I followed to where their eyes were looking at. A movie called Capturing of Kids. HOW DARE THEY!

Without even thinking out I ran without water nor food. For one week I was walking in the wilderness, when I heard a whining! Okay, okay maybe it wasn't one week. It was well, how do you put it, uh um one hour? Heh heh. Though I did hear a whining! "Skipper is that you?" No answer. I tried again. "Skipper? You there?" Still no answer. "Rustle rustle." The noise was coming from the bushes! I stepped closer to the bushes. "SKIPPER?" I separated the leaves in the bush and BOOM! There he was Skipper! Wrestling a cat! I dived into the bush and pulled Skipper away from the cat before he would be bleeding like crazy from all of those scratches he caught from that mean, evil, naughty, little cat.

I held Skipper close to my body and said, “Mama and papa will be sooo happy you are back with me Skipper. Wait a minute mama and papa!" I tried to retrace my steps it was no use. We were 100% lost. There we were sitting on a rock half asleep. I listened to Skippers breathing. Soon enough I was breathing deeply just like Skipper.

"Uhhhh. Morning already? I grumbled. I grabbed Skipper. All of a sudden I heard shouting! "SOPHIE!!! All well, I guess we finally don't have to take care of her!"
Looks like I wasn't that far from my parents! I ran towards my parents voices. I was sure it wasn't the movie this time.

"Mama Papa I found you!!!" I cried. "SOPHIEEEE!! OHH MY DARLING! I am sorry we didn't realize earlier that you were gone. Oh look it seems you really are responsible. You should go on the newspaper! Risking your very own life just to save your cute little puppy named Love. I mean Skipper." It's okay guys. Mama? It is okay for you to call my dog Love. I will call him Skipper. I bet he will be okay with that too. I need to ask you something. Why did you say, "Oh well, we finally don't have to take care of her." "THAT WASN'T US IT WAS A UH UM WELL YOU KNOW THE MOVIE YA! THE MOVIE!" Hesitated mom and dad. "Well okay. If you say so." I said.

Most probably you're thinking that, "YAY! It's a happily ever after! NOT. (Just to remind you the war is still going on.)Hint Hint. "Mom dad? May Skipper and I go for a walk?" I asked. Obviously the answer would be no after the run away plan! "Of course you may! Anything for my little perfect darling!" Answered mom and dad.
"Okay... I may be seven years old but I'm not dumb. Is today Christmas or my birthday???" I wondered in my head.

Once again I was walking with Skipper in the forest ALONE. "BWA BWA BWA BWA BWA!" "GUN SHOTS! The war is still going on! Run Skipper run!!!" There we were, running for our lives not caring if our clothes got torn. Just running. "Keep quiet Skipper. Or they'll find us." I whispered. "Heemmmmm" Skipper whimpered. "Follow me." Some voices called. They weren't behind us but they weren't far either. "This way!" I heard again. "GRANDPA GRANDMA!!!" I shouted! "Shhh keep quiet. Some army men followed us into this forest. Grandpa mumbled. Though he was still smiling! "We can't talk now we'll talk later. Now just follow me!" Grandpa whispered.

"FLIP FLOP FLIP FLOP!" "Grandma take of your shoes they're too noisy!" "It wasn't me!" Cried grandma. "Then who was..... AHHHHHH!" "Shhh." One person groaned." Someone covered my mouth so no sound could be heard. "We're are not the army men. We're the people who ran away from them." Like you!" Two girls said on the same time. "Twins. I hate twins." I commented under my breath.

"Everyone split up! I hear noises." Grandma said. "Grandma, grandpa follow me. I'll take you to mama and papa." "NO! Wait a minute you still didn't figure out?" Grandpa asked. "Figure out what???" I curiously asked. "Those parents are not your real parents. They are working for the army men." That's when It all came to me. First of all, they were the ones who said, "Oh well we finally don't have to take care of her!" Second of all that's why they were watching Kidnapping of kids. Finally, third of all, that's why they let me walk alone in the forest!

"What happened to my real parents?" I asked. "Well, they died from a car accident." They said. It happened all so quickly for me. Not real parents. Dead real parents. Finding my grandparents, and now crying.

"At least I still have Skipper that is real. Oh, and you grandma and grandpa! Wait a minute who will take care of me?" (In my head I was expecting them to take care of me.) "Well, I'm afraid you will have to go to the orphanage." Grandma sighed. "WHAT!!! CAN'T YOU TAKE CARE OF ME? I THOUGHT I WAS YOUR GRANDDAUGHTER!!!" I screamed. "Shhhhh. We already let you cry loudly, that doesn't mean you can scream!!!" The twins cried out. "I'm sorry, Sweety, but we already have 10 children that are still NOT married." Grandpa whispered. "Anyway... can we please change the subject!!?? More runny less talky!" The ugly girl twins complained.

Making Changes

Article posted April 30, 2009 at 11:02 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 226

CONFUSING! TOUGH! SCARY! Most of all EMOTIONAL.

I personally now hate having BEST friends. I feel like I am stuck between a rock and a cliff! If I hang out with someone, my best friend would say, "I thought you liked me NOT her!!!" If I hung out with my best friend, she woudn't let me play with anyone else (This happened in the past). I decided to NEVER have a best friend. Each one I ever got I figured out they weren't really the one for me! So now I don't have best friends just friends and good friends, and I'M PROUD OF THAT. That's not the only thing I am changing. I realized that sometimes I can get sick of GIRLS. Now, I'm playing soccer during recess because I miss playing sports. Once I started I thought that this was the best decision I EVER made. I'm going to stay like that. At least I'm now trying something else (Soccer) and thanks to my mom and a friend of mine in Arabic (Jena) I changed! Thanks Jena and Mom!

Reading Time!

Article posted April 28, 2009 at 08:14 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 230

Well, today KG2A were reading to our class, Ramy was my partner. He was a very shy, quiet boy. I very much liked him. I was happy since he put so much trust into me. He reminded me when I was 5 years old. I was exactly like him, shy, quiet, calm and trustful. I wish that everytime whenever I get a buddy he/she would be just like him. The teacher was kind too. She let us sit outside in the garden! I also noticed that when 5C was leaving, Ramy sped to his friends talking and smiling.

I did tell Ramy one thing before I left, "Ramy you did excellent today! 3 books? WOW! I wouldn't be able to read that fast." Since I told him that, I think I led his spirits up high and I'm glad. I hope you 5C students had a great partner too.

HELP the World

Article posted March 26, 2009 at 11:55 AM GMT0 • comment (1) • Reads 416

Every single day I see about 5 people littering! Isn't that awful? I am glad to say that Farah, Lara, Hiba, and I, are going to try to make a difference in the world. From now on we are going to do the best we can in helping the environment. Out first activity is to go to my grandpa's house and plant some flowers and other plants. Another activity is that we asked permission to go to Emily's house in A.U.B to have a picnic there and then pick up the litter there. Out last activity is to go to the beach (during the summer, of course) and to clean up the sea. What I am asking you is to please send me more ideas so we can make the world a better place. Thank you!

Mrs. Salem

Article posted March 24, 2009 at 09:15 AM GMT0 • comment (5) • Reads 313

I have some things I would like to say about Mrs. Salem. I believe she is my favorite teacher I have ever had. She is sooo nice! I have not ever met a teacher that can teach me soo much and on the same time be fun! With some other teachers I don't feel like I can talk to them as much things as I can talk to Mrs. Salem. I feel confortable when I am around her. With some other kids if a teacher is coming by they say,"Hide! Teacher alert!" I am not like that at all. I actually feel happier when she comes by. This may sound silly but like when I am upset just like that. Magic! I turn happy just because she walked by. It is really special. So is Mrs. Salem. So I am telling you, you should like her a lot especially if she is your teacher. (This is all in my opinion.) Thank you, Mrs. Salem

Lara

Article posted March 22, 2009 at 06:43 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 259

Lara is a great friend. Funny, smart, kind, and best of all honest. I have never met anyone who is all of this! Whenever I am sad or upset Lara is there to help me! Lara and I have lots in common which is one reason we are best friends. We both love reading and writing and we both care about the environment! Unlike other girls, whenever she asks how I am, she actually stops what she is doing and looks at me for my answer! Lara can be very fun. We both LOVE teasing each other every single day. What's weird is that we never get bored or sick of it. For example if I say we are over! (Smiling.) unlike others, she would laugh and say you are soo silly. Another great thing about her--she is special in a way when she knows if someone is bullying her or teasing her. I know lots of girls who become sad if I say we are over in a funny way. I am not saying that is bad I am just say that I am glad Lara knows if I am joking with her or not. Lara is a really special and I am glad to have meet her. By the way, Lara, I thank you for being really kind with me. By: Michelle

Friends

Article posted March 19, 2009 at 12:19 PM GMT0 • comment (1) • Reads 298

Hi everyone. I have a question. You know when you want to have a best friend? Normally you should have lots of good friends and about one best friend is that right? Because I see a lot of kids fighting in friendship. Soon they turn out just to be friends not best ones. Sometimes the fight is so strong that you are not even friends at all. So I have advice for you if that is happening. You should always have more then 2 friends. So that if you turn out not to be friends with them you will always have some more left. Thanks and please comment to me and tell me if I am right.
Your curious friend, Michelle
