We watched a TED video during technology today, about a breathing phone. I think that this phone is pointless. I don't see the point of it, but if someone wants it, thats cool with me!

Friends and family close to us

Running and biking to friends houses

Cheering them on

Softball, swimming, gymnastics,

Soccer, basketball, tennis

Cheerleading, and once volleyball, too

Playing outside everyday

Running and biking just for fun

Sometimes with friends too

Team making it to nationals in Valpraiso, Indiana

Being on the same team as my sister

Zion being our rivals

Getting a higher place at nationals the them

Buzzer beating shot won them the game

Putting us in third in state

But us still making it to nationals and winning 5^th over all

I am from soccer

Just playing for school

From when the coaches were on the fields with us

To them now on the sidelines

Being good one year and bad the next

Playing since kindergarten

Now in eighth grade

Playing co-ed

Parents too nervous and still wanting me to quit

Soccer is the only sport I have played for more than 7 years

Wanting to move up levels

Moving up and meeting new friends

Never running short distances

Only long and then long biking

And sometimes swimming too

Always trying to go one more mile than before

Trying to run a mile everyday

Loving running and do it in my free time if I can

Being close to everyone

Friends and teachers, too

Traveling to see friends near and far

By the time I was 12 I had gone to 7 different countries

France, Germany, England, and Japan, too

Cheers for nearly every word

Still talking to kamp friends I met 4 years ago

Knowing about everyone

Staying close and keeping in touch

Always having my headphones in

Using my iPod to tune out other noises

And using it as a distraction from others

Having her random facts about him

And now me knowing everything, too

Knowing every song

Always finding more and more and more songs

Having a whole playlist just for Mr. Bieber

Our groups project was kind of a collaborative effort. Both schools were involved, just one school more than the other. It was kind of hard because we were never on at the same time and had difficulties communicating. Our visual graphics were used well, and not too many that were distracting. I think that our organization was decient, and our hyperlinks to our soures were good, but I didnt realize where they were, because they went to the bottom of our wiki page. We didn't have good grammar in the beginning, but after someone corrected it! :)  Our evidence was good, because we typed out the version of the Bible was next to our version. The qualinty of our retelling was okay, but some where better than others! :) But over all, our group did pretty well!! :):):)

We read an article on Google making us stupid. We were told to answer if we think that it is making us stupid, helping us, or not sure which one.

I think that Google is helping us learn by helping us find more information, therefore making us 'smarter', if we didn't already know the information we are reading.

I think that Google is making us stupid because we might be searching for something, see another link, and then we would get side-tracked and not learn anything.

Either way, Google has some positives and some negatives  about Google, so I am not sure which one I should choose, so I think I fall under the category 'Not Sure'!

Our class just watched 2 TED videos. They were both interesting. There are questions that were underneath them, and here they are!

1. One of these videos deals with hardware and the other software, can you tell which is which?                                                                                           I think the Hardware is the first I watched, the Photosynth one.


2. How would, or how have, these technologies changed the way that we interact with machines (computers)?                                                                   I think that these technologies have changed the way we interact by adding a whole new way to change things. Like Multitouch.


3. Where do you see something like this being useful in business?                                                                                                                                            I think that these machines could appear in printing places, so that those people can  bring up the files in an east fast way!


4. How do you see something like either Photosynth or the Multi-touch device being useful in the church? How could you see either of these two creations helping to Spread the Gospel?  I think that the MultiTouch might, if they dont already have one, a Gospel App, or like a touch screen Bible!

The 5th graders in our school are about to start blogging, and they need some guidelines! Here are the top 10 rules I think people need to know when they start blogging!

1. Be L.A.R.K.

2. NEVER  give out personal information!

3. Don't type like our texting somebody

4. Blog about something you are interested in

5. Be yourself

6. Dont put something out that could hurt somebody, or somebody's reputation

7. Embed videos/pictures you are talking about

8.Dont forget to publish the articles

9. Stay on topic

10. Think before you type!

I had a basketball tournament this weekend, and then another game...and a game yesterday!!! on friday night, we lost our game 24-26, but it was close! on saturday night, we won our game. on sunday, we won both of our games!!! at our game yesterday, we won 45-6!!!
