My favorite specialist is music. I like music because it is so fun and a relaxing time with friends. One time I bonked heads with Snowcone. I also like music because it is nice and a kind of goofy time. Another reason I like music is because it is always a special day and every time something’s new. As you can see, I really like our specialist time in music!

Top 10 Books

1. Because of Winn-Dixie; by Kate Di Camillo. I like this book because I really connected with the main character when she found Winn-Dixie. I would also try and convince my mom to let me keep it.
2. Blind Beauty; by K.M. Peyton. I like this book because I like horses and this book is about a race horse who is blind but Tessa the main character and the horses owner love him very much.

3. Little Women; by Louisa Alcott. I like this book because it’s funny when Joe burns her dress while she was sitting by the fire.

4. Shiloh; by Phyllis Naylor. I like this book because I love dogs. But this book is also very sad.

5. Mad for Miley; by Lauren Alexander. I like this book because I like Miley Cyrus because she is very pretty and has a good voice.

6. Tuck Everlasting; by Natalie Babbitt. It was very descriptive when Winnie was sad.

7. Diary of a Whimpy Kid; by Jeff Kinney. It was so funny when Greg wet his pants.

8. Baby Mouse; by Jennifer Holmes. It is such a good book because Baby Mouse is so cute.

9. Tale of Despereaux; by Kate Di Camillo. It is so good because it is funny and Despereaux is a very smart mouse. It always makes it a good story.

10. Ghost of the Graveyard; by Jonathan Rand. I love this book because I love the main character Holly because she is the only girl in the adventure club and she is not afraid to show her feelings.

Home Again

By: Cotton Candy

“It’s time to leave sweetie”. That is the sound of my mom telling me we’re going to ______. The car starts and were off.

First we stop for hot chocolate and some snacks. We leave the gas station. We take off.

We drive all the way to South Dakota. Then there is a big bump. We pull over. The engine is smoking.

We stop for the night. We have to drop the car off at a shop. We stay at a Travel Lodge. We order pizza. We also watch TV. I also did homework.

We had to walk everywhere. My legs were so tired. All of us walked to a Chinese buffet. It was delicious. After that we went back to the hotel.

When we got back we watched a cool wrestling show. It’s where celebrities pretend to fight each other. Sometimes they actually get hurt. I went to bed after that.

My Favorite Christmas Tradition

My favorite family tradition is reading It Was The Night Before Christmas every night on Christmas Eve. My mom sits on my bed I dose off. This year we were in Austin so she wasn’t really on my bed. But she packed it just so she could read it to me. That is my favorite Christmas memory this year.

I want a Chihuahua for a pet. I want it because it is a lap dog. Also because they are cute. Chihuahua’s are also easy to take care of. That is why I would want a Chihuahua for a pet.
