Jiro-San is a wise person.In the text it says that he cleaned the beach so the the turtles babys would be safe when they hatch.I know that a baby turtle needs a clean beach to be safe.

Jiro-San is a wise person. In the text it says that Jiro-San was sweeping the beach because he knew his friends would not come if the beach was not clean. Also it says that Jiro-San waited four days for his friends.I know that wise people have been around something for a long time.
