النملة و الفيل

Article posted June 14, 2011 at 06:33 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 774

Japan

No one knows what his fate will be!
The Japanese woke up just expecting a normal day ahead of them. Then in a sudden “Breaking News”, an 8.9 magnitude of earthquake on Richter scale struck Japan, and a long with it a tsunami washed away thousands of people with their houses, cars, ships, and all their other belongings. Lots of people lost their children and parents.
Tears running down millions of people’s faces. People running away for their survival leaving all their valuable possessions behind. Everybody was extremely nervous, gasping for air trying to avoid the calamity. Japanese who survived couldn’t cope with their loss, couldn’t believe how in few minutes their life has changed forever.
In addition to the huge earthquake an explosion of Nuclear plant caused a threat called “Radiation”. When I watched the news I was literally going to cry. I couldn’t imagine how bad they felt, I couldn’t but empathize with them.
I told myself:” Life is not fair at all, anything can happen at any time and anywhere. Life is full of miseries and surprising events that will take place”. If I put myself in their shoes I would know that this is the most traumatic experience that any human would pass through.

So Much Depends Upon

Article posted March 7, 2011 at 09:34 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 209

So much depends upon
that may leave an un washable
Scar on your soul.

So much depends upon
A drop of water
That can ensure your survival.

So much depends upon
The small bees that are endangered
and unfortunately deprives us of the
most delicious and precious food…….
“Honey”.

So much depends upon
One goal that can lead
The team to victory!!!

So much depends upon
an addicting game on the computer
that can damage our brain cells
and stop us from experiencing
the beauty of the world outside of our rooms.

Muhammad Ali

Biography:
Hi my name is Cassius Marcellus Clay Jr. I was named after my father. I was born on January 17th 1942.I warned myself to be the greatest boxer of all time. I was really confident of myself I wasn’t scared of anybody, I was brave. I believed in me and kept bragging how strong I am. My motto was always “Float like a butterfly sting like a bee, you can’t hit what you can’t see.
One day was an amazing day for me I had a chance to be the Champ, but I had to beat “Sonny Liston”, everybody thought I would never survive with this champion but I did, I thought that Liston was just a big ugly bear. I didn’t care what they thought because I knew what was going to happen from the beginning. By the end of round six the bell rang Ding…. Ding….Ding. I won I was the Champ!!!
After a couple of days I surprised the world again my real religion was Christianity but I changed to Islam. After that I shocked them for a second time I have decided that I was going to change my name to Muhammad Ali.
When I would walk on a sidewalk in pride sometimes people didn’t respect me only because I was an African American. In 1967 the American army informed me that I must fight with them in a war. I didn’t accept going, so I was sent to jail. Everybody hated me at that time they called me a Traitor a Coward an Ingrate and a Chump. Hitting people was one thing but killing people was just wrong. Life was so boring for me those years going from one courtroom to another, I was fighting for my freedom I hated this place more than anything. In three years I was released from prison. I reentered the Kingdom of Boxing, and I said again “I am the Greatest”.
I had a very good chance again to regain my Championship, I had to beat the mighty George Foreman. George Foreman kept hitting and punching me till round eight, then I woke up from my trick and I knocked George Foreman on to the floor. Once again I was the Champion of the World!!!
I have always been wishing and dreaming of being crowned King in Africa, not a real King but to be like one in everybody’s minds.
In 1972 I had my own training camp in Deer Lake, Pennsylvania. He taught new friends, old friends, and total strangers I really didn’t care who came. Whoever were big fans of him he would talk to them and give them his autograph. I loved everyone, and when groups of children came to my camp I used to hug and kiss every one of them. I respected anybody that came. I always tried to keep them enjoying me with jokes, wacky faces, poems, rhymes, magic tricks, and raps. I’ve always loved to make people laugh. Wherever I went my presence made people feel special as if they were champ too.
I lost my Champion Ship and I won it several times.
Since that day my dream came true I was crowned as Boxing King of Africa!!!

Friends

Article posted February 17, 2011 at 09:58 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 839

Friends are as valuable as gold and diamonds. Good friends are a treasure to keep.
Real and sincere friends mean a lot to me. They always help you when you’re in problem and they stay by your side.

Friends behave in a good way and are never mean to you .Anybody can count on their friends and tell them anything because they are trustful. When friends disagree they don’t get in a fight and get mad at each other. They talk and discuss it and at the end they agree on something, in other words, they reach a compromise.

Friends are so important in life …with them we can share all the good bad memories and we can rely on them whenever we need support…
Real friends are priceless and not easy to find everyday...So we have to keep them and treasure them whenever we find them.
I enjoy being with all my friends to have fun together when I don’t know something my friend would tell me what it means we care about each other.

Friends are amazing and without them you barely have anything!!!

Surprising Accident

Article posted February 17, 2011 at 09:58 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 831

Whoever said that a ten year old boy cannot really hurt a three year old boy?
Well if you don’t believe me let me give you a proof!!It was a Saturday morning, my little brother and I decided that we want to go to my grandmother’s house and spend the day there. So we went, we spent three hours before my friend Youssef came. We played together for a long time then my brother and I wanted to wrestle each other, though I know it’s dangerous, but I always try not to get serious.
We started fighting, he kept kicking on me with his legs, so I decided to lock them up so I put his legs in mine and then I started squeezing it, and by accident his hand was even locked up in my legs and I didn’t notice .After ten seconds he started crying. First I thought he was faking it then I knew he was actually crying but I thought he will stop….

Well I was wrong, he kept crying and crying, I tried to calm him down but I couldn’t. My heart started besting so far, and sweat started pouring my from my face, because I thought I will be in big trouble. My brother continued crying then my grandmother came and started to ask all of us “What happened?”

I was terrified of telling her and I started blaming it on my nanny that she didn’t tell me that he was hurt and thought it was a lame excuse. My brother kept screaming and shouting .So my grandmother wore her clothes and took my brother to the emergency room!

When they left I was in a miserable Condition. I was so angry at myself and I was so sad …While they were gone I couldn’t stop crying .I was thinking if I accidently broke his arm…I tried to watch TV to distract myself or calm myself down, but of no use.

When the bell rang I thought I would faint …the door opened and guess what???He wasn’t crying at all, he was actually happy and holding ice cream in his hand …I was so relieved .I learned my lesson .So I will never use violence against my own brother or anybody else.

If Only They Could Speak

Article posted February 17, 2011 at 09:56 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 915

I stay in the living room my whole life .Everybody body sits on me with their weight almost killing me .They sometimes lay on me with their smelly feet and sometimes they jump on me with their shoes or socks. When they watch a movie they sit on me, when they are studying they sit on me too, and when they eat all their crumbs would fall on e and in between me .So then they will take all my pieces off and they start wiping of all the dust of me. While they are sitting on me they even fart and when sometimes the house owner gets a dog or a cat they sleep on me and all their fur start spreading all over me .And when the babies comes near me all my life is ruined … All their spits starts falling on me and they start biting parts of me .They even draw on me with crayons, pencils, and markers too. And sometimes they sneak out scissors from the drawers then they start cutting or ripping me!
After they do all of that to me they decide to throw me away and get another one, thought it’s their entire fault.
I wish I could make them feel how I do so they can actually feel sorry for me and take more care of me.

Presidential Qualities

Article posted February 17, 2011 at 09:55 AM GMT0 • comment • Reads 832

Presidents come in different colors and flavors. We have to be very careful when voting for presidents.

One of the most important presidential qualities is being a good and strong leader. He should be honest, smart, resourceful, good listener, and of course he shouldn’t be lazy at all but confident and active. Most importantly he should love his country and sacrifice his life for it. He should also be very giving but never at all selfish.

This is what I look forward to in a president and if he has those qualities. I think the majority will vote for him as their leader.

Dictatorship is what leads to a bad country, stealing money from poor people while they should be providing them with money, food, good schools and hospitals. Bribing people to vote for him is the worst of all because people will pay for it late. Citizens are responsible about choosing the right person for the right place. People should have the right to express themselves freely with their opinions. Expression is very important. People should not be threatened at all.

Freedom should always be a citizen’s right. No one has the right to confiscate it.

I'm a really big fan of soccer, my favorite team is Chelsea their really strong in playing and how they play is very fascinating, they usually win with high scores and they rarely loose. Chelsea has amazing players like Malouda, Lampard, Anelka, Terry, and my favorite is Drogba. Drogba plays as a striker and he scores goals most of the time.

My favorite colors are blue and black. My favorite car is a Ferrari. One of my favorite city is London, I have three nationalities which are Lebanese, Saudi Arabian, and Canadian.
