Every year the public libary has a reading challenge called Mayors Mega Minutes.You get a paper that has pictures of clocks on it and every time you read 15 minutes you color 1 clock in.So far I have colored in 2 and a half pages .Then at the end of the week you have to hand in all your papers and then you are put into a draw.There are some great prizes that you can win,one of the prizes are A Trip To DISNEYLAND for 4 peole,isn't that a huge prize.Also every week they pick a few people who win a bicycle.But they also have a prizes for the top 10 classrooms that read the most minutes.Last year my class got in 8 place out of Regina so we got to go to the movie Prince Caspian.It was a pretty good movie.I hope my classroom wins again this year.So keep up the great reading.
