My Dance Compettion...

Last weekend me and my sister had a dance compettion here in Regina.It was at the readel center in the university.The compettion was hosted by Dance City.Me and my sister both dance at Martin School Of Dance.We had competed with our jazz group,our tap group,our ballet group, our jazz duo,and our tap duo.We did very well in all of them.At the end of the compettion we got awards,we placed first in ALL our group routins,and we got first in our jazz duo.This was also our fist year competing with our tap duo so we placed 2nd.But we were still very happy,and my parents were very proud of us.When they started to hand out all the big trophes our stuido got almost all the awards!!!We did great!We hope to do better in our tap duo,when we ae in saskatoon next weekend, and we will always try our BEST!

Tonight my mom has to curl my hair in sponge curlers,for my dance competion on the weekend.It takes my mom about 3 hours to curl me and my sisters hair.I just had dance from 4:45 to 6:45 and I am so tired but I will still have to stay up to about 10:00.I wish I could get to bed at least by 9:00,but I can't because my sister is going first and so then I have to wait for about an hour and a half.I takes a while because my and my sister have really thick hair and long hair too.If you have never got your hair curled in rollers,it hurts a whole lot.The part that hurts the most is that my mom has to slick my hair back way off my face,and she has to do that with a whole lot of gel.Tomorrow when I come to school you will probbaly see me in curlers.

Every month my class has to do a book report. This month it was book report of our choice,so I choose to do a power point because I love working on computers. Some people are making a poster,and some people are making a podcast. I wanted to make a podcast but I could not because I don't know how, and I don't have a computer at home that has a camera on it. My book that I am doing is called Charlie and the chocolate factory,it is by Roald Dahl. I have also seen the movie for it,it is really good. It might even be my favorite movie!

On April.22/09 it was earth day.Earth day is when you help our earth.Some things you can do are pick up garbage so we have a cleaner earth,you can also reduce your garbage by bring your lunch in reusable containers and not plastic bags.Another thing that you can do is turn off your lights when you are not using them or if you are leaving to go somewhere. Next week my class is going to turn off the light of our classromm for an entire morning.The SRC are also planing a week of helping the earth.They want us to where green on Monday to support the earth.A couple days ago my teacher bought us some big paper bags that we got to decoriate and then she would take them to Safeway and the people there would give them out to people with there food in them.On my bag I put "save our world" and I put "respect our world" I also drew a rainbow with some flower and wrote "this is what our world should look like" beside it.Can't wait to start cleaning up!! Me and mm are really good friends.We have been in the same class for 3 years.And this year is the third year.We love to spend time together.She is an awesome blogger ,she has wrote 19 articles. She is also an awesome basketball player.She is very tall and very skinny and is a very good, and fast at running.And she just had an awesome birthday party at laser quest.She is one of my BEST friends.

4 Of my cousins live in Saskatoon they are 4,9,11,12.In my family us kids are 3,8,9,11.So they are all older than us by a litte but..
They are all shorter than us because my cousin that is nine is shorter than my sister who is 8,and my cousin who is 11 is way shorter than my brother who is a eleven and she is even shorter than me and my siser who is eight.
I also have 2 cousins in Toronto they are 13 and 11.So they are older than us but it's still fun to visit them.They have a pool in there backyard it's AWESOME when we go vist them in the summer.Last but not least I have a baby cousin in Winnipeg.Her name is Meera she is 2 and is really really cute!

Do you have a peace cornner in your classroom?well our class does.Your probbly wondering what that is?So now I will explain it.
The peace corner is a place where you can go if you are distracted at your table.Or you can just go there if someone is talking and you are trying to work.At our peace corner we have a pledge form that says something that we had to all agreew on.The pledge is from the Red Cross,where they help people.Our class is also woking to being a peace by peace classroom and how we do that is we have to earn 4 puzzel pieces and they all stand for somthing special.Like one of them stand for safty but I foget what th other ones stand for.We also have a thousand crans hanging from the seling so it brings you good luck.Our class was reading the book Sadoka And The Thousand papper cranes,it was about a girl namd Sadoka and she was very sick and then all her friends told her to make a thousand paper cranes so then you will be healthy again.
