CE: VCU'S Maynor,Sanders,and Burgess are honored
Virginia Commonwealth University's Eric Maynor was named the Colonial Athletic Association's Player of the Year for the second time Thursday! It was at the league's annual awards banquet at the Richmond Downtown Marriott. Also a sophomore named Larry Sanders became the first Ram to earn the CAA's Defensive Player of the Year award,while freshman Bradford Burgess was tabbed for the All-Rookie Team.Maynor was also named to the First team All-CAA,and Burgess was named to the CAA All-Defense Team.I think it is so cool that three of the college's player were given these awards. I also think it is cool that VCU is one of my March Madness teams! The website where I found this article is http://www.vcuathletics.com/mbb.php.
