T- Topic/ What were the results of the French and Indian War?
June 23, 1763

The French and Indian War came to an end today. The British won the French and Indian War. Most people described the French and Indian War as a conflict between Great Britain and France in North America from 1756 to 1763. I am very happy today because now the war is over and that means that less people will be dieing and because we won the war. It is also a lot of stress off the shoulders of the people who were fighting in the war wife’s. I am just happy to know that I helped out. I am glad that I am alive. I want to say thank you to everybody who served for the British in the war. If you are wondering how the French and Indian war got called the French and Indian war it got its name from the British colonist were fighting- the French and their Native American allies. I just want to say I could not have done it with out all of your support and help. I also want to give a special shout out to all of the people who made me a better person. I want to say to the French that they put up a great battle, but I guess in the end one of us had to win. In result of the French and Indian War the British gained almost all of France’s land in North America. Because Spain had been an ally of France in the war Britain also gained the Spanish colony of Florida. But, in 1762, as the war was ending, France gave Spain much of Louisiana to keep it out of Britain’s hands. This agreement also included the city of New Orleans, an important part in the French fur trading business.
