 11-2 Raft A- Myself F- Diary Entry T- What led the colonists to rebel against the British? Dear Diary, A year ago Patrik Henry told us that if you pay the taxes of the stamp act then you are an enemy. The Stamp Act is a tax that makes you pay on almost everything that is printed. Now there is the Townshend Acts to worry about. I protest and my family talks about liberty. Hopfully us colonists will get some. Today we decided that we would make a list to boycott the goods of the British. We are always ready to rebel. I do not like the British one bit. They are taking control of us and making us pay taxes for a war that the land they won for us [and making us pay for it] they won't even let us go on it! It is like buying land but not being able to go on it.I hope that we will soon become free from the British and not have to pay these unnecessary taxes!
