I Am A Wild One
Grade 3A students would like to share the information that was provided by the New York Zoos and Aquarium website about their “wild self” animal characteristics. Each child designed his/her wild self and has taken that name as their Class Blogmeister user name. Welcome to the world of blogging!

Red spitting cobra hood - Your red spitting cobra hood is spread open because that makes you look bigger and more threatening. That'll help you scare off other bully animals.
Crab eye stalks - Your crab eye stalks allow you to see things above and below you at the same time. Although that extra vision comes at a price—less detail.
Siberian tiger paws - It's no fun getting stuck in the snow. That's why your Siberian tiger paws are extra large. They work just like snowshoes and prevent you from sinking.
Octopus arms - Octopuses have eight arms, but no bones. This lets them to squeeze through small openings in rocks to escape predators and helps them find food.
Rodrigues bat wings - Your Rodrigues bat wings are very different from bird wings. Bird wings are made like human arm bones. But your bat wings are more like really long fingers. Creepy long fingers!
