Erik Guay is a Canadian Athlete who will be participating in the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics for Alpine Skiing. His best events are Super-G and Downhill. He has came in 2nd for Super-G and once for Downhill. In 2006 he suffered an injury two weeks before the 2006 Winter Olympics and he could not participate in the Downhill event, but he finished 4th in the Super-G event.His fiancee gave birth to their daughter, Logann Elizibeth Guay on January the 8th 2009. His fiancee's name is Karen Sherris. Erik Guay was the first man in 13 years to win a World Cup Mens Downhill Race, and the first man ever from Quebec to win the World Cup Mens Downhill Race.

The Winter Olympics of 2010 will begin in February. So me and my partner are just trying to get this finished before that time. So me and my partner are writing about the Winter Olympic sport Alpine Skiing where you try to ski down a mountain as fast as you can while turning through a series of gates.

In Alpine Skiing the pieces of equipment needed for the sport are goggles, skis, ski poles, shin pads, snowsuit, knee pads, and a helmet.

The slope of a downhill course is a whopping distance of 1100 meters! Wow! It takes most professionals under 2 minutes to complete the course. Nancy Greene (our 1968 Canadian athlete) won gold AND silver at the Winter olympics. Any comments?

1. Ipod Touch.I wish for an Ipod touch because they have they have games so it would be a good pass time.It would also have more GBs than my old Ipod,so I would get more songs and games.It would also be touch screen so it would be easier to do alot of things such as pick songs.

2. Cash.I cold use some cash to spend in Arizona.I could also use cash to save for a car.I could use cash for gifts such as Christmas or birthday gifts.

3.World peace.I wish for world peace because there would be no war.I also wish for world peace because nobody would be shot.World peace is a good wish because nobody would steal and you wouldn't need an alarm system.

4.My flight to Arizona would be fine.I wish my flight to Arizona would be fine be cause I would not die or not make it to Arizona.
I would also be able to see my family.I could also organize a football game with me and my family and I really like to play football.

5.Candy.I wish for candy because when I eat it I laugh longer than my regular laugh.I wish for candy because I can eat it and it tastes very good,I wish for candy because I can share it with my family .
