Crazy Beautiful by Lauren Baratz-Logsted Last year, Lucius Wolfe blew off his hands in a science experiment gone bad. He now has hooks in place of his hands. Last year, Aurora Belle's mother died. Now both Lucius and Aurora are about to start sophomore year in a new school. On the very first day they meet, they form an instant connection. But high-school politics run against the notion of the girl “everyone wants to be around” with the boy “no one wants to be around”. The usual high school drama ensues when a popular boy likes Aurora. Aurora doesn't return his affection as he would like and bad things start to happen.
