Once was Lost by Sara Zarr A pastor’s daughter struggles with her faith when her mother goes off to rehab for her drinking problem and her father is busy with his duties when a young girl in their small town disappears. She feels out of place with her friends because of her father and tries desperately to contact and understand her mother’s problems. This is a great book for discussions about faith and how pastoral duties affect family life.
