The Border of Truth by Victoria Redel
As a single college professor is preparing to adopt a foreign baby, she is asked to provide her family background to the support group. She begins researching her father’s history because he is reluctant to share his story of coming to America from escaping the Nazi’s during the war. She discovers that he is leading a very different life than she thought. This book travels back and forth from his letters to his daughter’s own research and gives an interesting insight into the plight of the Jewish settlers on America.
