Ice Storm of 2008

Thursday night, a shocking storm hit the state of New Hampshire. This was no rain or snow storm...this was an ICE STORM! As Friday morning approached I woke up to see massive layers of ice! I soon found out that houses all over the state were without power! Even though this sounds really bad, there was an upside...NO SCHOOL! So all day, we had relatives in and out of our house because of the loss of power and electricity they had. This power outage continued all weekend and even Monday! I was happy and a little shocked to hear that school was canceled again! Well, now that school is back in, people now are getting power back and recovering from this major loss.
