The Inner Planets
If you lived in Mercury, it would not be too relaxing or calm. You would either be so hot, about 800 degrees to be exact, that your skin would be burnt incredibly bad, or you would be as cold as -350 degrees farhenheit and would think you were living in the ice age. Basically, it would be impossible to live on Mercury because of the temperature and because there is also no atmosphere.
Next, in the order of the planets, is Venus. Even though Venus is the second planet from the sun, only about 67.2 million miles away, it is the hottest of them all. Temperatures reach up to 891 degrees Farenheit and the low is a very cold temperature of 837 degrees! Wow, it would be a very hot place to live all 224 days of the year. The atmosphere isn’t as nice as it is here on Earth. For one thing, the pressure pushing down on us would probably squish us because it is 90 times as forcing as we feel here. The natural wind speed every day is about 200 miles per hour.
Now we can easily see why we live on Earth. With 77% nitrogen, 21% oxygen and 2% argon in our air, it all makes a pretty nice atmospheric place to live. The highest ever recorded temperature was in Libya, a high of 136 degrees. The low was -129 degrees in Antarctica. Other than that, our temperatures here on Earth makes life very relaxing and calm.
