State test

What, huh, yes. That is the sound of my state test last year. My experience with the state test last year was great. Of course that was my first time so I was more nervous. Now I’m not as nervous now. I am ready for the state test.

It’s most likely I will be a chef. It’s likely because want to be a chef. Also I’m a good cook. Last of all, I love to cook.

Spring Break=http://
On my spring break I’m going to my friend Cotton Candy’s house for a sleepover. I will have a lot of soccer games, which to me are very fun! What I’m looking forward to the most though is sleeping in. I’m excited.

How to Eat an Oreo

How to Eat an Oreo

Crunch, gulp, that is the sound of me attacking an Oreo. The squishy, creamy, round Oreo was so tempting, but I shall tell you how I devour my Oreos.
What I do first is rip the top off the Oreo and eat it. Then of course I swallow. I cherish the chocolaty flavor swirling around in my mouth. I am ready for more.
Secondly, I do the same thing with the bottom. This time I though, I delicately slide off the chocolaty, crunchy bottom. I get a little bit of the vanilla cream that makes my saliva start going.
Last of all the creamy, vanilla middle. Now that my saliva is going I’m ready for the best part. I enjoy the sugary middle dissolving in my mouth.
Munch gulp now I am done with my Oreo. I would encourage to write an Oreo essay. And I’ll read it.

Martin Luther KIng

Article posted March 24, 2009 at 09:31 PM GMT0 • comment • Reads 103

People think of Martin Luther King JR as a person how had a dream, but he accomplished more then that--he accomplished a mission.
His first adventure started when he was born in Atlanta GA. When Martin was a kid he would play games with his siblings. He would go outside to play, but he couldn’t play because the parents of the kids he was playing with were against African American. Martin thought that was weird, but he wanted to change it.
Martin went to Morehouse College and he graduated. He was asked to go to Boston College for a doctor’s degree in 1955, he refused. Martin moved to Montgomery AL. Martin was boycotting how blacks aren’t equal to whites. He got arrested for the boycott. Of course Martin was never violent and he never used weapons.
Martin won a Nobel peace prize for causing peace. Martin Luther King JR is very famous for his “I have a dream” speech he recited on August 28 1963.On April 4 1968, on the roof top of a hotel a murderer named James Earl Ray shot Martin.
Now we celebrate Martin Luther Kings birthday in thanks of the freedom he gave us.

Top Ten Books
3/10/09
1. Because of Winn Dixie; Kate DeCamillo. I had a great visual image while I was reading this book because India Opal moved to a new town and she felt welcomed.
2. Tales Of Despereaux; Kate DeCamillo. I really enjoyed this book because Desperox goes on an adventure to rescue his true love.
3. Diary of a Wimpy Kid 3; Jeff Kidney. This book is a comedy about Greg Hefley, and what he writes in his diary.
4. Kira Kira; Cynthia Kadohata. This book is a sad and peaceful book about a girl and her sister who are really close.
5. Miraculous Journeys of Edward Tulane; Kate DeCamillo. This book is about a journey that a china rabbit takes.
6. Road to Paris; Nikki Groms. This is a sad book. The plot is very interesting about a girl who runs away from home.
7. The Homework Machine; Dan Gutman. I liked this book because it was a book about a smart kid who owned a homework machine.
8. Matilda; Rahl Dahl. This book had funny characters like Mrs.Honey, Mrs.Tronchbull, and Matilda.
9. Jane Goodall And the Life of Chimps; Jane Goodall. This book is about Jane Goodall and how she studies chimps.
10. Marley And Me; John Grogan. This book is sad but a great adventure.

Three about me

Article posted February 17, 2009 at 08:00 PM GMT0 • comment (1) • Reads 140

My name is Snowcone. I am 9 years old. I think school is a great way to learn. In my bag I have these three things: a dog stuffed animal, a C.D, and a tech deck.
I brought a dog-stuffed animal because it represents I like dogs and stuffed animals. I have a whole tone of stuffed animals. I only use them when I go to sleep.
I also brought a C.D. I brought because I like to listen to music. I listen to music when I’m in the car, and sometimes when I go to sleep. I have a big collection of C.D.s
Last of all, I have a tech deck. I brought it because I like to skateboard to me skateboarding is a great way to get outside. I like to tech deck because I like using my fingers for things.
I enjoyed telling you about me I want to read about the other kids in our room. It will be interesting to learn more about my friends in fourth grade.
