One lesson I learned is don't stand in your cat's way when she is running wildly around the house--she'll just crash into you!

My favorite place to visit in Washington is Leavenworth. I like Leavenworth because I love the houses and stores. I have visited Leavenworth a lot. I love the smell of pine needles on the campground. I can’t wait to go back to Leavenworth again!

My favorite specialist is P.E. I like P.E. because I love sports. One time Mr. Bruner taught me a game called bloody knuckles. I also like P.E because I like to play games. Another reason I like P.E. is because I like Mr. Bruner. As you can see, I really like our specialist time in P.E.

Salmon Danger

Mandarin

Garbage is a danger to salmon. It’s dangerous because they can choke on it. It’s also dangerous because it is pollution. For example: If water goes down the storm drain and has garbage in it the garbage will go into a nearby stream. That is why garbage is a danger to salmon.

Elections

Mandarin

Kids shouldn’t be allowed to vote in elections because they probably pay more attention to how people look. For example: They will say “I like that person. I’m going to vote for him!” Politics are also very hard to under stand. You should vote for someone because of his plans. That is why children shouldn’t be allowed to vote in elections

Even though I am not doing much this spring break, I am still looking forward to it! I am going to play outside all day and stay up late at night. The best part is I am going to roller-blade all day. I am so excited for spring break!

There was a real problem when Maya was trapped in the wilderness with a broken ankle!
3. Chase; Jessie Haas
It was a mystery when someone was spying on a boy named Phin. Phin was wondering why he was being spied on.

I liked it when Julie found a way to talk to wolves when she was lost on the tundra.

I loved the description in this book.
6. The Young Black Stallion; Steven Farley
I love how they talk about the black stallion when he was still a foal back in Arabia.

This book had a lot of action in it.

There was a lot of mysteries, action and excitement in this book!
9. Justin Morgan Had a Horse; Marguerite Henry
I think this is a very detailed story.
10. Black Star, Bright Dawn; Scott O’Dell
