Safety Tips
Here are some very good internet safety tips, for social networking sites, cyberbullying, email scams, and internet shopping. 1- never share personal information such as passwords, addresses, school name, phone number, and certain photos. 2- Be careful buying online, read the sellers history. If you see a 10 dollar ipod touch 3rd generation, it is usually a trap. 3- If you get an email with a threat, tell an adult immediately. Hit print screen on the keyboard and save it on a document and print it.4- Never meet with an internet friend in person at all.5- when on facebook, if you have a picture it is visible to anyone.6-You shouldn't talk on the internet when an adult is not home.7-If you get an e mail from the bank stating : customer, they would call you by your name. 8- Some people will pretend to be a kid so you will give them your address.9- It should also be common sense when a thing comes up saying enter for a chance to win football tickets, just punch in your social security number.10-It may sound silly but a criminal can track you through what school you go to.
