The City of Pomeii
The important thing about Pompeii is that it is located in Italy. In 79 AD a volcano erupted and barried the city, There were about 2,000 deaths, they didn’t die from the lava but they died from the ash, or from the heat, the volcanoes eruption barried the city of pompeii in a layer more that 30 feet thick. But the important thing about pompeii is that it is located in Italy.
