Spectacular sandtorm (N)
Have you ever seen a sandstorm? Or even heard of what a sandstorm is? Well, sandstorms are when wind picks up the sand in the desert and carries it around. This was one of the biggest sandstorms the area has seen in decades! Both places had to shut down airports and schools and advised people to stay indoors.
“The storm came in so rapidly, that traffic halted to stop as drivers struggled to see the road ahead." When the storm ended, the places were covered with sand, and the bright blue sky turned to an orange color.
I would be so scared if I lived there. I have never seen a sandstorm, and I don’t think I will ever want to see one.
