 Powwows Powwows are celebrations. Native people come together to celebrate though dancing, singing, and fellowship. A powwow is when native people or washo people dance outside or inside. Another thing about powwows are men play drums, and they sing. The men that play the drums are my uncle and other men. Than another thing about powwows are men are not the only the one’s that dance in the powwows there are girls that dance in powwows too. Some day I want to Dance in one too. If you are Native of washo than you can dance in a powwow if you want. When powwows are started they can me outside or inside. My tribe goes them both. My tribe let’s little boys, and little girls dance in it. When I join I will dance with the music when they sing. But powwows are are the best to me and I like them so munch. But the thing I want to dance in one so munch. When people dance the men on the drums sing when they dance. When we go to powwows before we dance we get dressed. Then theirs a another dance that is called fancy dance. Fancy dance is when girls dance with blankets that are colored. The fancy dance is the best dance that I want to dance in so band. If you do on google.com you can look ou powwow if you want too. Thats what I did I went to google.com and tipe in powwows. Powwows are cool you should dance in one.
