Miss Knight took this photo at about half past seven on a cold and frosty winter's morning. A few seconds later the sun rose at the top right of the photo. It was an extremely cold morning for the Waikato region, -4 degrees C.

The new carpark is well underway. Just the centre fence to finish now. When school starts on February 2nd it will be a busy place again.

The fence along the side of the school carpark has just been demolished. The school carpark and the carpark in front of the community hall next door are going to be joined to make one large carpark. This should make our carpark less crowded and safer.

This is Luca playing padder tennis. He won our class competition. I think that New Zealand is the only country that plays padder tennis. The picture was taken in late spring around November the 19th which is near summer which starts in December. It’s near the end of the year for us in New Zealand we finish school on the 16th of December.

Children that didnt' have those animals did painting of a bird like a tui, kereru, and kiwi. Lukas won 3rd, 4th and 4th for his lamb called Timtam.

On the 15th of September the Livewires were studying about shadows. They were busy looking at how their shadows change. The shadows started long, then they were short then long again during the day.

Don't the blossoms on the trees look beautiful? Sometimes when the sun is shining on them they look like their petals glow.

This photo was taken on the 1st of September. The trees beside the courts have flower buds on them. We use the courts for playing tennis, basketball, netball, padder tennis, volleyball, badminton and other sports. The frames that look like bike racks are padder tennis nets. We have a swimming pool that we use in the summer.

The sun was shining outside the big windows on one side of the classroom and then I looked out the window above my desk. I saw these big, black storm clouds heading our way. A few minutes after I took this photo a thunderstorm with pelting rain passed over our school.
