The O.R.E.O. project 2005 is now complete.
I truly enjoyed this project this year and seeing all the creative thinking that went on with students!!
It was amazing for me to see the different things they thought of to measure and HATS OFF to all teachers and principals who allowed themselves to be measured!! WOO HOO!!
The blog was a bit perplexing for some -- but it is always good to learn a new technology!! And the O.R.E.O. project proved to be a good showcase for blogging.
The blog will stay open for a few more days to let those who are still posting time to post.
And I look forward to seeing you next year for "That's The Way The Cookie Tumbles".
If you want to be on the Technospud Projects Mailing list, just drop me an email and I will send you an invite.
Enjoy your day
Jennifer

Well, its October 11th and this project is winding down. We have had several teachers create webpages to show off their class participation. That is always fun to see.
The sculpture project only has 1 entry so far this year......hmmm, wonder why so low??
I would love your comments on this project. Did the blog work?? What could make it easier???
Always, appreciating your comments.
Enjoy your day!

I just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU to all my participants.
7 years ago I naively walked into the world of online projects -- little did I know what I was doing!!
We started with a simple project involving the oreo cookie -- and now look where we are 7 years later.
Today we hit having 75,000 students participating in projects since 1999. WOW, I am staggered!!!
I wanted to let you know dates for next year -- -- just in case you wish to join us again. Mark your calendars for September 18 - October 13, 2006. We are going to repeat "That's the Way the Cookie Tumbles" which is one of my favorite oreo projects. I hope you will be a part.
Enjoy your day!

Wow -- this has been a fun project.
It has been very fun to see what students are measuring and to see all the creative ideas.
Don't forget you can send in your oreo sculptures (just make sure they are 300x300 dpi and 1 per class)
If you haven't visited the LINKS page of the project, you just might wish to do so and check out some class sites highlighting this project.
Enjoy your day
Jennifer
ps -- remember the last day to post results in October 14th!! Thank you

Hello and welcome to the O.R.E.O. Project Blog!
Please remember to list your school name in the title area -- and if more than 1 person at your school is post, you might wish to type your name in as well.
On the left will be a long listing of participants who are posting their information. I invite you to take the time to look to see what other schools are doing. PLUS, some schools are posting their O.R.E.O. websites as well. So -- be sure to check those out as well.
Thank you again for being a part of this project.
