Hockey has Begun
Hockey has begun and with full force. I had my first practice today and with a coach that used to play on the Marlies, it was intense! We did skating drills for the entire two hours and I know it sounds like nothing… but if you have ever skated ten minutes of just hard skating, you know my pain.
Despite this new coach I have been asked to play on two single A teams who are in need of defence. But I said no to one and will say no to the other. I just moved down from single A because I wanted to play select. So just because they ask me to come back up I am not going to.
I hope this year goes as well as last year or hopefully better!
