 The Truth at Last? “September 11th, 2001, was a day that shocked the world”. This is how most pieces about that tragic begin. However, the correct beginning, if one was to talk about the great ordeal, should be closer to the following; “September 12th to perhaps late 2005, were probably the most tragic, hard and mystery filled years for the United States in the recent past.” Reasons for such a beginning shall be unveiled soon. But first, to bring to ones attention that, the USA, believed to be one of the most secure countries in the world, had their security breached by the very people that they had supposedly been preparing for, for quite some time,(as one would assume due to their excessive partaking in War games) In the Paragraphs to come, an opinion shall be expressed that attempts to explain why things occurred as they did on the day of 9/11. And on that note, perhaps it was both the Government (and only parts of) as well as the terrorists who played a role in this heinous occurrence. Perhaps the people from both “Loose Change” and “Popular Mechanics” are in the right and in the wrong. Or… Perhaps it’s a different rode altogether. The First issue that must be addressed, is the fact that the people from “Loose Change” base a lot of their argument on the media. And as almost everyone one knows quite well, the media is not always a reliable well, when it comes to getting info. An example of this, is their Quoting the Coroner, and the people from “popular Mechanics” actually asking him in person. It goes from; “To this day I have not seen a single drop of blood, not a drop” to “We were only able to identify some of the carnage”. Hmmm… That is to make on wonder, did the Government have something to do with what could be published released and to the public, yes, but… for what reasons… To add further to my opinion, it is necessary to start at the beginning. Ever since the 9/11 incident, there has been much talk of conspiracy. Most people think that this is a bunch of mindless jibber jabber. In this opinion piece you will find the opposite. To start off, In their movie, “Loose Change” states that two of the 9/11 highjackers were, for a time before the whole ordeal, living with an FBI informant. This is someone who works for the FBI, someone who gives them information. And finally! Someone who has access to a plethora of privileged Files and documents. To put the cherry on top of the sundae, this person was living with two of the people who were in part, responsible for the deaths of thousands of people. The reason why this is of any significance is not just because they could get through security easily, not just because they could smuggle weapons onto the plane and into the country (although there, there is really no need), or plant evidence, but because of something called a war game. When people have all of the evidence laid out in front of them, a few things stick out. One of these things was the fact that it just so happened that when the planes went off course (that is started heading for the World Trade Centre, the Pentagon, and the Whitehouse) the fighter jets that would have normally intercepted and destroyed them, were no where to be found. Well… on the contrary, the Government knew exactly where they were, off at their little War Games. Now, again, when most people see this, they say or rather burst out, “Conspiracy!” This opinion however is different. The reason why the terrorist “coincidentally” attacked when the military was unable to respond, was because of that good old traitorous FBI informant (and others like him) who had informed the terrorists who they were living with of the War Games that would be happening. The terrorists, then seeing an opportunity to get off clean, decided to make the occur attack on the same day as all of the War Games. Not only would they get off clean, but any resistance that may have been mounted would not be. However, the first part of the plan failed, for the reason that was unable to prevent the attack in the first place, the nation’s security. Although the US‘s security was flawed, they were either to ashamed, or to oblivious to acknowledge the fact that it could‘ve possibly been one of their own, and as a result blamed the terrorists fully. This brings me to my next point. Fast forward a few hours to the Pentagon attack. Why did the government try to hide all of the evidence of the plan crashing into it? Simple, all because of an every day human emotion - Embarrassment! Even after the day of the attack, the U.S. were back-pedalling and changing things at every turn. This brings back to the point about the coroner, and others like him. People and things were manipulated by the Government all just because they were ashamed that they, supposedly the most secure country on the planet (believed by them at least) had had their security breached. From traitorous FBI informants to official statements changed by the government. From a Country hiding its shame, to the incredible irony of the security system in it, the events that were given the title “911” were a product.
